New Sports Bug Logo

Sports Bug has a new logo. This is the third and final Sports-Bug logo and was designed and produced by Justin at Sign Tech. Although the overall design has changed, the Bug's face has not as he is the face of Sports Bug and always will be.

Some things should never change!

The hidden messages behind the logo are:

  • A fit and healthy lifestyle for children reflected in the movement of the 'Bug'
  • The fact that the 'Bug' is moving forward reflects the fact that Sports Bug is always improving and moving forward.
  • The 'Bug' is running which suggests that YOU should try to catch it.
  • The 'Bug's' smiley happy face suggests that we are about having fun as well as improving your child's sporting skills.

I hope you all like the New Logo!

Holiday Activity Club News

The Multi Sports Bug Holiday Activity is now a States of Jersey registered Child Care facility. This means that it is regulated through the States of Jersey childcare registration ensuring that your child is totally safe with us when staying for more than 3 hours at a time.

Record numbers of children enjoyed our Multi Sports Activity Clubs at Le Rocquier and St Georges Schools for 6 weeks this summer so much so that we had to ring Jersey Child Care to ask them if we could extend the maximum number allowed on our Registration Certificate to accommodate the demand. Because we have a higher ratio of coaches to children than anywhere else this was not a problem.

Feedback about the Activity Clubs from parents and children alike has been fantastic and it is largely down to the brilliant staff that gave everything over the 6-week period. A sense of fun and encouragement the coaches and helpers exude as well as the commitment shown towards making sure every child has a great time whilst improving their sporting skills makes it what it is.

The children who attended on the last day where encouraged the come in fancy dress which was great fun for everyone including the coaches who excelled themselves!
